Temporary Reprieve

For those of you who are my friends on Facebook you probably saw my status tonight offering our 4 year old beagle Enzo up for adoption.  I love Enzo, he has been a part of our family since he was a 6 week old puppy.  For the most part he is a really good dog.  Lately, however he has been driving me crazy!!!  He barks at everything that moves.  I can handle a lot but the barking grates on my nerves so much that I feel myself getting progressively more and more irritated as the night wares on.  Tonight I had enough!  Terence was at the gym and I was home with the boys and Enzo was up to his old tricks.  I went out to the Beagle Rescue website for Seattle and filled out the forms.  I also posted on facebook that he was looking for a new home.  When Terence got home and saw my status he was bummed.  He loves Enzo too although he does agree with me that the barking gets old.  So we made a deal, as long as Terence takes Enzo for at least a 20 minute run every night he can stay with our family.  We will see how it works out.  For now he gets a temporary reprieve.
