Grammy and Pop!

We have not had the chance to see Terence's Mom and Dad a lot in the last month so on Sunday we invited them over for dinner. They are such nice people and we really enjoy spending time with them. Connor absolutely loves Terence's Dad and had a great time playing with him. For some reason he loved putting Pop's shoes on and walking around in them.

Grammy was content to just sit and hold Corey. Corey is moving a lot lately and is not super fond of being held anymore however he was pretty happy with his Grandma.

Terence's Mom also made a beautiful quilt for Corey. She made one for Connor when he was born and this was her gift to Corey. It has become something of a tradition. She asked that we give her a brake before our next baby so she can have some time to work on some other projects.

It was a really fun evening and we were glad to see them.

Like Grandpa like Grandson...

Connor is just about the funniest kid I have ever met. The things that he does and the words that come out of his mouth crack me up. The other day Connor found a screwdriver and then proceeded to lay under the coffee table and "fix it". When I asked him what he was doing he told me he was working. Apparently Connor has inherited Grandpa's mechanical skills. I'm excited about that. Hopefully he will be able to fix cars in the future.

Remlinger Farms...take two!

Yesterday was a beautiful day and Terence and I wanted to do something fun. I had taken Connor to Remlinger farms with my Mom and Heather back in June and we had a really good time so we decided to do that again. There is one ride there that is a small cannoe ride on kind of a mini lazy river. It's made for toddlers. Well Terence decided that he was going to get into the cannoe with Connor. He almost sunk the boat but him and Connor both enjoyed it

The Ice Cream Man

Everyone has memories of growing up and having the ice cream man come to their house. I remember in Federal Way it was a Ford Aerostar.

Sultan has an ice cream man who drives around on a golf cart that literally has been modified to have a freezer on the back. Every time he would drive my our house Connor would look out the window curious. So one day I took to get an ice cream. He loved it! We got a push pop that we paid a dollar for when we could have gotten an entire box for three dollars at the grocery store but I kind of think that's part of the fun.

The Furminator!

Terence and I love our dogs but we can't stand the pet hair all over the house! For a couple of months now our friends Scott and Melissa have been telling us about this awesome grooming tool that is supposed to help with removing the hair and the shedding. It's call the Furminator (http://www.furminator.com/) It's pretty pricey so we waited a while to get one.

It's amazing!

We brushed Alpine with it and the amount of hair that came off of her was enough to make another dog! Of course then we had the problem of getting all the hair off the carpet. Well we figured out it's great for that too. Hear are some pictures of

Blog Stalking

So one of my favorite things to do when I am bored at work is blog stalk. I know all of you know what I'm talking about. You check out the normal blogs that you always read and then you link to other peoples blogs from your list of friends. I love it! It's a great way to find out whats going on in other peoples lives without the pesky side affects of actually having to have a conversation with them. OK I'm kidding about that part. It is however really fun to read about what other people have going on in their lives.
The other day while I was linking through other peoples blogs I actually found a connection. I guess it goes back the the whole six degrees of separation thing. I was on a friends blog that I knew from our ward in Bellevue. Their blog linked to a blog of someone we know who moved to Georgia, their blog linked to the brother of someone who is currently in our ward in Sultan and is good friends with Terence. Did you follow all of that. Anyway I thought it was kind of interesting.
You should go out today and try to find someone you know in the blogging world. You could find a long lost friend. And be careful what your write! You never know who could be reading it.
