Going Private

I have decided to make my blog private.  I'm not usually one of those people who is super paranoid or worried about people finding stuff about me in the Internet.  To be honest, in today's society I'm pretty sure if someone wanted to find you they very easily could.  But I have decided that I do want to keep my blog a little more private.  There are a lot of details about my family that I write and would like to remember and I don't want to have to keep it vague just because I'm worried about who is reading it.  Just wanted to provide a brief explanation as to why the change now.  Thanks for all those who have decided to continue following my family and our journey :).

Connor Reading!

Connor is getting ready to wind down his first year of school.  He has learned and grown so much in kindergarten.  I can't believe how old he's getting.  This last weekend we were at my parents house and my mom pulled out some Biscuit books.
Connor and my mom sat down and Connor started reading these books to her.  I was really surprised that he was able to read the entire thing. It just showed me how much he has actually learned!  There was about 5 books all together and Connor has spent the last three days reading them and even brought one in to read to his teacher today.  I absolutely love reading and it seems that I may have passed my love of books onto Connor!

Happy Mother's Day!

I have had such a wonderful Mother's Day.  I feel so very blessed to have my three (soon to be four) wonderful children who have made me a mother.  I'm also so blessed ot have such a fantastic husband who has made this day so great!
Ever since I was a little girl I have always wanted a porch swing.  This is something I have talked about with Terence off and on our entire marriage.  This year he decided it was time and got me one for Mother's Day.  I love it so much!  It's on our back deck and it's so comfortable and cozy.  I can just sit out there for hours watching my kids play.  Of course all the boys had to try it out.
This morning Terence got all the boys up and and ready for me while I slept in.  It was so nice to get an extra hour of sleep!  Also, Corey got himself all dressed for church without us even asking.  He may not have been completely coordinated but it was very sweet!
Tyson was running a fever today so we just went to sacrament meeting for church and then came home.  Terence once again stayed with the boys and I was able to lay down and take a little nap.  After that we got up and headed over to my parents beautiful new house!  My Dad and Jared cooked a wonderful dinner and then we enjoyed ice cream sundaes.  Corey and Connor went exploring out in the woods with Uncle Jared and Grandma while we hung out in the house and watched the babies.  It was a wonderful, relaxing day.  I'm am the luckiest girl in the world!  I hope everyone else had a fantastic Mother's Day!

For the In Laws!

Since my Mother and Father in Law refuse to sign up for Facebook but read my blog, I know they won't see this unless I post it here.  Here is our video of Nolan from our ultrasound earlier this week.  As we suspected he is in fact a BOY!  I can not believe that I am going to be the mother of four boys.  How lucky can one girl be?  Plus that pretty much makes my husband THE MAN!  Good job Honey!

Ivory 2-IN-1 Hair & Body Wash

I am part of a website call Influenster.com.  They are a marketing research company of sorts that sends "qualified" participants free products to try and then the participants write a review on the product.  Recently I received the Ivory 2-IN-1 Hair & Body Wash from them to test out with our family.  Overall I would say it's an OK product.  The idea is that you only need the on wash for your entire shower as it washes body and hair.  For the men in the house (which is the majority) I thought this was great.  I used it on the boys because I could just lather it up in their hair and then use those bubbles to scrub them squeaky clean.  Terence also liked using it.  The scent is not too strong either so again, great for the guys.
As for me, I used it as a body wash and thought it was fine for that.  It lathered well, smelled good and it was not overly drying on my skin.  The hair was another story.  Having long hair means that I need a conditioner and although this product claims to have conditioners in it, they do not condition well enough on their own that I could use this product exclusively on my hair.  Overall I would give the Ivory 2-IN-1 Hair & Body Wash a solid B.  Great for the boys/men in my house, not so great for me.

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes
