Sunday

rday was a really nice Sunday. We got up and got the boys ready for church, it always amazes me how no matter what time we get up on Sunday mornings are cannot seem to get out the door on time. There is always one more thing we have to grab, or someone's shoes were forgotten. We did end up making it to church before the sacrament which was nice. The testimonies born yesterday were great and it ended up being a very uplifting sacrament meeting.
Terence has become somewhat of a runner for second and third hour of church. He jumps between Connor’s class (the Sunbeams) and Corey’s class (the Nursery). It’s nice that he is able to go in and help out when needed especially since I have to be in with the young women third hour.
After church was over Terence informed me that he had invited Jared, Emily and Olga over for dinner. I was not surprised as typically Sunday afternoon involves some kind of social engagement for us. We have it worked out perfectly, we go home and get the kids some lunch and then put Corey down for a nap. Connor does not take naps anymore so he has “quiet time” where he kind of patters around the house doing whatever he wants while Terence and I relax on the couch. Every once in a while he will say something and one of us will respond as we fade in and out of sleep. After quiet time we cleaned up the house and got dinner started, hamburgers and hotdogs. Fast, easy and it’s what we had in the house. The kids love spending time with Jared and Emily but they were REALLY excited to see Olga yesterday since it’s been a while since we have seen her. I love Sunday and the chance we get to spend time with the people we love. It was a great way to end the weekend.
