Saturday was such a whirlwind day! I left my house at 7:45 and did not get home until 10:45 that night. Terence got up super early and went golfing with his dad and our good friend Scott and well as his dad’s friend Ed. They had beautiful weather and played at an amazing course. I got the kids dressed and headed over to my weigh in for biggest loser. This was not a good week for me and I knew the scale was not going to be generous. Sure enough I gained 5lbs!!! Ugh! Looks like I need to hit the gym really hard this week since not only do I have a ton of weight to lose but now I am starting further behind then I was two weeks ago. Terence tried to reassure me by saying that it was really only a net gain of 1lb but that really did not make me feel any better. After the weigh in I took my kids over to our friend Felicia’s house where we had a couple of girls from our ward watch them so we could go and get pedicures. With Emily being only a few days away from having her baby she wanted to make sure her toes looked beautiful, we went along with her for morale support. We went to three different nail places in Monroe before we ended up at one that had enough chairs to take all of us. It was not the best pedicure I have ever had but it was really fun to spend time with Emily, Julie and Felicia. On the way home from getting our pedicures Terence called me to tell me he had lost the key to my car somewhere on the golf course and asked if I could bring the spare out to him. No problem, not a big deal except for the fact that my kids were in Gold Bar, I was in Monroe and Terence was in North Bend. By the time I got the kids picked up and in the car and was on my way Terence had been waiting for a good 45 minutes and I was still 45 minutes away. Luckily his Dad was nice enough to wait with him and bought lunch. Scott stayed with Terence after his Dad left they ended up meeting me and the boys in Fall City. I took Terence back up to the golf course to get the car and then we all headed into Redmond. Heather and Brooks are in town and it’s always a party when they are here so of course we had to hang out. We went and had lunch at Red Robin and then went back to my parents’ house and let the kids play for a while. Aunt Pam had a get together at her house that night so after Terence left to go play in our Stake softball game; Heather Brooks, the boys and I all headed down to Boney Lake. I love Aunt Pam’s house in the summer and it’s so fun now that the kids can just run around and play and I don’t have to worry about where they are every second. We ate some delicious taco salad, talked about Jennie’s upcoming wedding and chatted around the fire. Unfortunately all great days must come to an end so around 9:15 I packed up my boys got in the car and drove the hour and a half home. They boys were exhausted and went right to bed without even waking up between the car and the house. Terence and I spent a sometime together just sitting on the couch talking about our days and enjoying each other’s company. It was a great ending to a great day. Oh and the golf course called Saturday afternoon and said that someone had turned in our missing key! Yay! Now we don’t have to pay the $400 to replace it.
