Six in Six -2006-2007

1. Terence and I moved into a rental house in Bellevue
2. It was a really cute little house, too bad our landlord was crazy
3. Jason came home from his mission during that time and I remember him and Terence playing a lot of Xbox.
4. I reached my 40lb milestone of weight loss
5. We moved our furniture around in that house a lot with Jared’s help. Jared is really good at arranging furniture.
6. Enzo used to escape from that back yard all the time but we did not realize he was doing it until about six months in.
7. Terence got a job with Volt and started working as a recruiter.
8. I found out I was pregnant with Connor! I cannot even describe the excitement I felt that morning. I had a gut feeling that I was pregnant for a good week before but I thought I was talking myself into it and did not want to take a test. The night before we found out I could not sleep, the entire night I kept thinking to myself wondering if it was possible. I got up at 5:00am and went down to the Albertsons by our house and bought a PT. Terence was in the shower when I took the test. When it came up positive I was in shock, I literally could not even process information at that moment. Terence did not have a towel and was done with his shower and I could not even think where to find him a towel. We called My Mom, Heather and Linda all within a 5 minute period. It was seriously one of the most exciting moments of my life.
9. I continued to work at Microsoft but changed jobs.
10. Terence was rear ended on the freeway by Jason Thopongsa, he was uninsured. Our insurance company sued them and we got all our money back.
11. Terence’s back has not been the same since he was rear needed.
12. Terence was on his way home from work to go to Emily’s endowment when he was hit. We did not make it to the temple
13. Jared and Emily were sealed a couple of weeks later
14. We helped Jared and Emily move into their house and I was super pregnant moving furniture trying to get myself to go into labor
15. I tried everything to try and go into labor.
16. I did go into labor naturally with Connor a good two weeks before his due date. I could not sleep the night before he was born. I told Terence I felt weird but could not put a finger on why. Terence slept on the couch and I woke up in the morning and thought my water had broken, that or I wet the bed. I started moving around which gave me contractions. I called my Mom at 6:30am and told her about it. She told me to go on a walk. It was absolutely pouring rain and I remember the bottom of my pants getting soaking wet. We got home and I called the hospital and they told me to take a warm bath and see if the contractions stopped. They didn’t so we went to the hospital, where they sent me home. I was still having contractions but was not dying so I made Terence a quesadilla, cleaned the kitchen and watched Eloise at Christmas time. At that point my Parents were home from church so we went over to their house and hung out for a bit. After a good couple of hours I told Terence we needed to head back to the hospital. When we got there I still was not far enough along so they had me walk around for an hour to speed up the process. That worked and I was admitted. After 4 more hours of labor Connor Terence Keenan was born 7lbs, 4oz, 21 inches long.
17.  Shortly after Connor was born we had a horrible wind storm and it snowed really bad.  We had to stay with my parents for a week until our power came back on.
18. We wanted to stay in that house in Bellevue for another year but our landlord wanted to raise our rent so we decided to move.
19. We lived with my Parents for 6 weeks
20. On April 7th 2007 we moved into our own house on Willow Ave. in Sultan.
21. Our life changed a lot between 2006 and 2007 but everything was change for the good!
