Anyone who reads my blog knows that Corey does not sleep well. You can probably make the conclusion that if he does not sleep well when we are home he REALLY does not sleep well when we are on the road. Terence and I made every effort to tire our kids out enough that they would sleep for us in the hotel. We had our friends Lee and Amanda come over and go swimming with us in the pool before heading back to the room and letting the boys all play together. Connor dropped off first and did not make a peep the rest of the night. Corey and our friend’s son Clark played together for another hour or so while we all sat around talking. I thought for sure after Lee and Amanda left that Corey would fall right to sleep (it was almost midnight). Unfortunately that was not the case, even after we all lay down and turned off the lights Corey was running around the hotel room, pulling tissues out of the box, turning the garbage can over and standing on it to turn the sink on, throwing the room service tray holders around. I would go get him and make him lay down but it was no use. At one point Terence in complete exasperation said "let’s just go home". It was probably 1:00am at that point and driving at that hour seemed kind of silly so we stuck it out. Eventually Corey did fall asleep and all of us were able to get some rest. This is how I found everyone when we woke up in the morning.

Terence and Connor were both quite comfortable on the two queen beds. By the way the blanket that Connor has is the present I got in the gag gift exchange last Christmas. Connor instantly attached to it and now cannot sleep without it.
Corey on the other had was content to sleep on the floor snuggled up with his Daddy's sweatshirt. In fact Corey did not fall asleep until he was on the floor curled up with it. I thought it was pretty sweet.
