Bobby Heads

What do you do when you have a yard that looks like this, a beautiful day and a couple of little boys?

Today was so beautiful! I took the kids with me to run some errands and then promised them that we would get some McDonalds and go play at the park. When we got to the park there was a bunch of high school kids playing on the equipment and rather than risk them running over the boys with their craziness we just came home. The kids were pretty bummed so I said we could have a picnic in our back yard. Our yard is a MESS right now as we have not had time to do any spring cleaning. Our plan is to kill all the weeds back here, till it under and then lay down some sod (anyone want to help?). Until we can follow through with that plan we have just kind of let it get out of control. Anyway back to the story, we lit a fire in our little fire place and sat down to eat dinner. It was not long before the boys were trampling the dandelions and blowing them all over the place. It was so much fun to watch them. Connor calls dandelions "bobby heads" I don’t know where he came up with that but I thought it was a fun name. So tonight we spent a beautiful evening playing with the bobby heads in our yard.
