Dentist Appointment

Corey has a big cavity in one of his molars.  I noticed it a while ago but we have not had a good opportunity to bring him into the dentist.  For one reason or another we would end up missing an appointment or have to reschedule it.  Anyway today we made it to the dentist!.  We went to Redmond Kids Dentistry and they were awesome!  They had me sit in the chair and hold Corey while they showed him everything that was going to go in his mouth and what it would do.  He was a little nervous at first but once he realized they were not going to do anything that hurt he calmed down and let them do their job.  I was amazed how fast the cleaned his teeth.  I guess when you don't have as many teeth it doesn't take as long.  Connor was really good and sat in a chair next to us the entire time just watching.  That was great for him because he has an appointment on the 15th of December and now he knows what to expect.  After the appointment was over both boys got tokens that could use to get a prize.  Corey will need to have his cavities (he has two) filled but they are worried about trying to do that while he is awake.  Once every three months they have an anesthesiologist come in to help sedate the kids so they can do the work on their teeth.  We are going to have that done for Corey in April.  In the mean time they are going to put a temporary filling on his tooth.  I'm relieved that it's going to be taken care of and I'm relieved that we have found a good dentist for the boys.
