Big Eddy Park

Another day, another park.  This time we went to Big Eddy State Park which is in between Gold Bar and Index.  It was once again it was beautiful!  The water was so clear and beautiful, the Skykomish river runs a bit slower right through here and you are able to see all they way to the bottom.  I tried to take a picture that would capture the clear water.  The best I can describe it is like the Caribbean but cold and with less fish.  Terence fished, Connor practiced casting and Corey threw rocks.  Connor also took some time to build a little sand castle which he was very proud of and which Corey promptly stomped on.  Connor was not amused at all!  Corey can be such a little stinker!  When we got home the kids were wiped out so we rested on the couch for a bit.  Now the kids are eating some dinner and we are watching The Sound of Music.  A beautiful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Missed you at church today. And I personally prefer the Caribbean! I so want to go on a vacation to the Caribbean.
