Camping

We went camping for the first time as a family this weekend.  We went to a place a little south of Leavenworth called Fish Lake.  We went up on Saturday morning and stayed through Sunday.  It was so much fun!  The lake had some good fishing, the camp ground was pretty good for little kids and our great friends Josh and Felicia kept us fed.  See, I'm not a great camper, in fact I would say I am an inexperienced camper at best.  We don't have camp supplies either we borrowed a tent from Jared and Emily along with some sleeping bags and we made the a deal with Josh and Felicia that if they brought all the stuff to cook the food we would bring all the food.  I would say it worked out pretty well.  Felicia made a great roast in the dutch oven for dinner and some awesome skillet potatoes.  She also made a peach cobbler for dessert that was so good!  Thanks Josh and Felicia for being patient with us and letting us tag along this weekend.  We can't wait to go again!
