Terence and I are training for a half marathon. This seems to be an easier task for him then it is for me. Right now we are both following a 10 week training program that requires running for certain amount of time each day to build up your endurance. The idea is that you won’t be the fastest runner but you will be able to run for long distances. Terence is about two weeks ahead of me in the running department and can run for much longer then I can but I am working on it and was able to run for almost 20 minutes straight today. We are hoping to complete the Jock and Jill half marathon on Labor Day weekend. We are also looking into doing the “Run with the Cops not from them” 5K on June 19th at Marymoor Park. Neither of us particularly loves running (although I will say it’s growing on me) but when we have goals and things are training for it makes it a lot more fun and encourages us to work hard.

I feel the same way about running-its a love/hate relationship
That is so awesome!!! I can't wait to start running again. Doesn't it feel like such an accomplishment even if it is killer?
