the mile

I have been trying to work back up to my prime shape mile which was somewhere just south of 9 minutes.  My first timed mile I ran after I had Tyson was 14:23, not fast by any stretch of the imagination.  At the gym I have been running intervals on the treadmill to try and increase my endurance and speed.  Today I ran a mile in 13.20!  I took over a minute off of my mile time.  I'm excited to see the changes in my body and feel my strength increasing.  It's awesome and hard!  But great.
