Feeling very reflective

This week as I was sitting in the McDonald's play place watching my children play and rocking Tyson to sleep a friend of mine from work texted me to let me know that one of my previous bosses had died.  My only reaction was total shock.  This person was young and healthy and the last person you would think about dying.  I went to the funeral yesterday and watched as their parents, spouse and hundreds of other people said goodbye.  It was very sad and a tragedy.  It has made me think about how precious our lives are and how things can change in a moment.  I hope that this person's family can find some comfort in this time of grief.  I know that I am holding my family a little tighter today.

Life is precious and we never know when we will be called home. I try really hard to never leave my family upset or frustrated and always leave on a positive note making sure they know I love them.
