Both of our boys are potty trained and do really well at staying dry and accident free during the day. Bedtime is a different story so we put our boys to bed in pull ups. Last night we did not get home until late because we were at my brother's house celebrating his birthday and when we went to get the kids ready for bed we realized we were out of pull ups. I swear I had two more but they disappeared. Anyway, neither Terence or I wanted to go to the store to buy more so we figured we would just put the boys to bed in underwear and come what may. Connor, I am proud to report, stayed dry all night! A small victory and that is one less pull up every night that we need to use. Corey was a very different story. Every hour on the hour he had an accident. I went through every clean sheet I have in the house and most of his clean pajamas. I was up basically all night cleaning him up, stripping his bed, changing sheets, getting him back to sleep and then I would fall asleep for about 20 minutes before it would start all over again. All of this because Terence and I were too lazy to drive the 15 minutes to the store for some silly pull ups. As the title of this blog states, next time I am just going to buy the pull ups.

I HATE running out of important things. There is nothing worse than checking if something works or not when you have no choice. Maybe when we grow up I can be your neighbor so you can come borrow pull ups from my house. Maybe we can get a duplex together.
NO pressure. I am just brainstorming. it seems like the simplest solution.
Yuck! That's sounds like the worse night ever. You don't sleep much, huh?
Have you though about those special cotton undies that are really thick and absorbent? I know in Canada we have them at Walmart and Sears, but it might just save you having to buy pullups just for night time (for Connor at least.) I never used them, but I have some friends who have and they liked them a lot!
