Last night on my way home from our fantastic
Koninginnedag party at Aunt Pam's house, I realized that I needed gas in the van. I had figured no problem I would just stop somewhere along the way and get it. It was not until I reached Bellevue and my gas light has been on for a while that I realized I did not have my regular debit card and therefore had no way to pay for gas. Trying to think of what I could do I remembered that I had a debit card in my wallet from another account that we never use. I decided that I would write myself a check, deposit it into that account and then use that debit card to buy gas. All i had to do was find a Bank of America, in downtown Bellevue, at 9:00pm, with all the boys in the car, on a completely empty tank of gas. After I found the bank and made the deposit I had to find a gas station. There are a couple in the Bellevue area but when you are fumes you just pray you can get to on. As I was driving towards the gas station I saw the familiar flashing lights of a police car behind me. Where they pulling me over? I pulled over and yup, it was me. Turns out after I left the bank I forgot to turn my lights back on, doh! Thankfully the officer was VERY nice (I wish I had gotten his name) . I explained that I was almost out of gas, just trying to get to a gas station so I could get home to Sultan. He told me it was right across the freeway and that he would follow me there to make sure I got there OK. He also told me to turn my lights back one :). Twenty five minutes and one traffic stop later I was finally on my way home with a full tank of gas. Never a dull moment!
