So our family had a super fun super busy Saturday yesterday. It started out when Terence got up at 4:45 in the morning to go play golf with his Dad. Anyone who know Terence knows that he will play any sport anytime anyplace. He just got a great new set of irons and has been itching to break them in.
After golf with his Dad Terence came home to pick up the boys and me. We headed over to a park thats about two blocks from our house to play a game of softball with our ward. Since many people there were husband and wifes with younger kids the teams were split up so spouses were seperated. Somehow all the husbands ended up on one team and all the wives ended up on the other. Needless to say the teams were a bit uneven . But we held our own. The final score was 9 to 8. Terence hit a double, a two run homer and
a grand slam. I hit a single and double.
Straight from softball we ran home really fast to shower and leave again. This time we were heading into Redmond. With our anniversary being on a Thursday we were unable to go out that night. Instead we left the boys at my parents house for the day and went out to a lovely lunch and Ruth's Chris Steak House in Bellevue. The food was great, the service sucked. It was kind of a disappointment. We were hoping to treat ourselves and instead ended up feeling kind of cheated. Oh well.
Next we headed over to the Parlor in Lincoln Square. The parlor is kind of an upscale pool hall. we got a table and played for about an hour. Once again Terence kicked my butt. He beat me six games to zero.

We didnt have much else planned so we headed back to Redmond and hung out at my parents house for a while.
My Mom being the Grandma that she is spoiled Connor by getting him his own little kiddie pool. Connor is a water baby like his Mom and played in it pretty much the entire day. He also loved watching Grandpa work in the yard. Brian came over a little later and we played Rock Band
on the Xbox and had a barbeque. It
was a busy day but also a lot of fun!
